Learning At Sea
Experience Has To Begin Somewhere.
Not every berth is reserved for someone with years at sea.
NGEN provides the main route into research, technology, education, and filmmaking. We may also carry one intern whose focus could be science, film, deck work, or a mixture of all three.
These are working positions. People learn by contributing to the voyage, with experienced crew nearby when they need guidance.
The first voyage is where experience begins.
